Epoxy Flooring FAQ

Straight answers to the questions San Antonio homeowners and businesses ask us most.

How much does epoxy flooring cost in San Antonio?

Most 2-car garage floor coatings run $1,800–$4,500. Metallic epoxy floors run $9–$18 per square foot. Commercial projects are quoted by square footage and use case. We give a firm written quote after a free on-site measurement.

How long does epoxy flooring last?

A professionally installed flake or polyaspartic system lasts 15+ years with proper prep. We back ours with a 15-year warranty.

How long does installation take?

Most residential garages are completed in a single day. You can usually walk on it that evening and park on it within 24 hours.

Is professional epoxy better than a DIY kit?

Yes. DIY kits are thin and rely on acid etching instead of diamond grinding, so they often peel within a year — especially under hot tires in Texas heat. Our systems are far thicker, properly bonded, and warrantied.

Will epoxy peel from hot tires?

Not when installed correctly. Hot-tire pickup happens with thin DIY coatings. Our flake systems sealed with a polyaspartic topcoat are specifically rated to resist it.

Can you coat a floor with cracks or old paint?

Usually, yes. We repair cracks and pits and grind off old coatings as part of our surface prep so the new system bonds to clean, sound concrete.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes — free on-site measurements and written quotes, with no obligation and no high-pressure sales.
